They're all mine

Wow - it's been a week since we last posted.

Kate's cold is gone and she's feeling much better. On Saturday morning, she decided to wake us over an hour earlier than usual, but that's been an improvement from this middle of the night wake-up that she started about a week ago. The cereal did NOT help, so it's been placed back into the cupboard for now.

We went out to brunch with our friends and their daughter, Petra on Saturday. Our "old" favorite restaurant, La Dijonaise, has a tasty brunch. It's our "old" favorite because we don't go out nearly as much as we used to pre-baby, nor do we make the long trip to our friends' neighborhood as often.

We had a very pleasant webcam phone call to Nana, Papa, and the Lakewood Pauers - that's Aunt Maria, Uncle Dave, and cousins Isabela, Alex, and Gabito. Kate did a jig for them.

If you have a webcam, you can see Kate move in real time as well. Email us and we'll give you all of the details. (We use SightSpeed because it's free!)

On Sunday, we started to paint Kate's room. We'll post pictures here after it's done, but it's not done yet, and we're exhausted. A quart of paint is NOT enough to paint just one wall of a bedroom, we've found out, so it's back to the paint store for us this week.

Kate is enjoying more and more tummy time. Here is a picture of her collecting all of the tiny toys we throw at her to keep her entertained.
